DAIMLER
Project planning and programming of four valve clearance adjustment stations
Production plants for identical components only appear identical at first glance. The SCIO Automation team from Ladenburg was responsible for the entire project planning and programming of four valve clearance adjustment stations for two locations (Mannheim and Detroit). This also included the entire control technology and visualization with HMI (Human Machine Interface).
Automotive
Final vehicle assembly with electric overhead conveyor
Automated systems such as electric monorail systems have been in use in the automotive industry for a long time. A German car manufacturer approached the SCIO Automation team in Eching with the aim of increasing the load capacity of its electric monorail system and modifying the final assembly line for passenger cars accordingly. The result was a system with outstanding production performance that combines combustion engines and e-mobility.
